The Rio Yuna was purchased by Resolve Marine Group Salvage Company in the Dominican Republic. Resolve cleaned the Rio Yuna, towed her to Florida, and sank w/ US Navy EDO Team using C-4 explosives. Vessel was detonated and sank at the same moment w/ 2 other vessels.

Sea Dogs Dive Center dives this wreck on a  regular basis also. It's favorite because of  the ease of navigation. The wreck is broken into two pieces and is a great spearfishing destination for everyone. This wreck is easy to swim through and is always crowded with fish. Broken into two pieces, she rests in 80 FSW.
